Melbourne, Victoria has a very tense relationship with water, recently we have dealt with drought (and water restrictions), waterway pollution, algal blooms in the bay, and we are expected to have flooding issues compounding with climate change in the future.

By utilising the green space available near Alphington through 5 golf courses on the Yarra River, we can create 230 hectares of wetlands that provide public open space, water quality treatment, nature conservation, flood reduction, eco-tourism, and water recycling functions.

With this project, Melbourne will lead the way in sustainable waterway design for application in cities across the globe.
