Aircraft improved safety, higher speeds, enhanced efficiency, better fuel-economy, and a significant reduction in harmful (greenhouse) exhaust emissions, would be achieved with a “hollow aeroplane”.

Designed for ultra-large, long-distance, non-stop, passenger and cargo aircraft, the hollow annular cylindrical structural members would be formed in a light-weight modular fashion, enabling the length – and carrying capacity – to best-suit the intended usage.

The tubular structure has less air-resistance – and more structural strength – than a conventional aeroplane of comparable carrying capacity, using tiny venturis to ensure improved aerodynamics and stability.

With a lower stalling-speed, shorter runways can be used.
